"Celebrate The Sound"One of Canada's finest and most-loved folk festival events, The Summerfolk Music & Crafts Festival is held the third weekend of August each year.
Summerfolk takes place at Kelso Beach Park with spectacular views of Georgian Bay and the Owen Sound harbour. Everything on site is easily accessible. There is a relaxed friendly atmosphere and many things to enjoy during the Festival weekend. With more than 50 concert performances and 85 plus workshops on seven stages, music is at the heart of the Summerfolk experience. You are sure to witness incredible performances from a lineup that spans the musical spectrum - traditional, world, comedy, contemporary, Celtic, bluegrass, ragtime, singer-songwriter, country, blues.
The Artisan Village features excellent one-of-a-kind hand-crafted works and you'll find an eclectic selection of nutritious fare at the Food Village. Kids love the lively, interactive children's area.
Presented by the Georgian Bay Folk Society, the Festival has celebrated tradition, creativity and excellence in folk music since 1976.
