Summerfolk Artisan Village

Summerfolk features an exciting and vibrant open-air market of fine professional craft work from across Canada. We also showcase artists from the United States and even from other countries on occasion. Festival artisans may sell only their own, handcrafted products and are selected by jury process for the quality of their work and their willingness to demonstrate and discuss their work with festival goers. The artistry represented at Summerfolk takes many forms, including glasswork, jewelry, textiles, paper, instruments, wood, pottery and metal.

Our Artisan Marketplace will have between 40 and 45 vendors this year and we will also have buskers who stroll the festival site performing and selling their wares.

Our Artisan Village is a major component of the Summerfolk festival and adds a colourful and exciting aspect to the Summerfolk experience. If you are an artist and would like to participate, please check back for 2010 submission details and deadlines.
